Historique
Face aux différents besoins en matière de locaux adéquats et d’activités créatrices d’emplois permettant de développer le tissu social et associatif de notre commune, l’association SynergétiK a évalué les potentialités de création d’un « Espace coopératif à vocation artistique et culturel ».
Suite à diverses prospections, un accord de partenariat s'est conclu avec l’association EDEN en 2014 pour co-financer la réhabilitation d’une ancienne chapellerie à Espéraza, devenue "Le Dojo d'Espéraza".
Le mot de Ghislaine et Daniel, fondateurs du Dojo, Centre d’activités corporelles, artistiques et culturelles:
« Notre volonté initiale était de créer un centre dédié aux activités corporelles où pourraient se côtoyer des pratiques d’arts martiaux et énergétiques telles que le Qi Gong, le Tai Ji Quan, le Tsigra, etc… Après quelques années, nous avons eu à cœur d’élargir la vocation de cet espace à un lieu d’accueil favorisant les liens transgénérationnels, les échanges culturels et la mixité sociale. Dans cette perspective, l’association rassemble des acteurs locaux pour organiser des évènements festifs (rencontres d’artistes, spectacles, forums de discussion, vidéo-conférences, repas à thème, expositions, débats autour de sujets qui nous préoccupent tous : alimentation, santé, écologie, mais aussi l’avenir de nos enfants…)

LOTUS Space (Ground Floor 120m2)

The DOJO, a community space, training center and internship venue with accommodation:
• Ground Floor:
- LOTUS Space, a versatile and modular space (80 to 120 m2) for conferences, exhibitions, shows, equipped with chairs, benches, flip chart + sound system and video projector with giant screen
- Communal kitchen: gas stove, cooking equipment,
- Reception hall, lounge area, dining room with tables and chairs seating 30 people, heated by wood
- Accessible restrooms
• 1st floor :
- Association office - reception - information - registrations
- Lounge area, reading space
- ORCHIDEE Room, a "zen" space in a 30m2 room (yoga, pilates, meditation, zazen...) with floor mats and cushions (electric heating)
- 3 bedrooms (capacity 12 beds) and a dormitory (capacity 5 beds)
2nd floor :
- TOURNESOL room, a 180m2 "internal energy arts" practice room (Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Kung Fu, Yoga, Pilates, Theatre, dance...), equipped with floor mats, cushions, blankets (3 reversible air conditioning units)
Planned projects include a sauna, a gentle fitness area (stretching, massages, etc.), and the construction of a masonry heater through a participatory building project. A crowdfunding campaign invites you to contribute to these projects >>
All Dojo activities are reserved for members of partner associations: SynergétiK, EDEN, Un Air de Famille (events), and Pour l'Avenir d'un Enfant au Cambodge (international solidarity). Anyone wishing to participate must pay an annual membership fee or a one-time fee .
The Dojo's anniversary is coming soon.
For ten years now, the Dojo has been a vibrant presence in the Upper Valley, offering weekly activities, artistic events, festive and culinary gatherings, and opportunities for international solidarity. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the Dojo would like to create several new spaces for fitness and socializing. We are counting on your generosity to support this new project.
