Jean Michel Gassend
Jean-Michel Gassend, a passionate ethno-archaeologist and graduate of the Sorbonne, has worked for UNESCO, the City of Paris, the National Education system, and has provided artistic advice to galleries and museums.
“Having studied art, archaeology, and ethnology, I have had the opportunity to encounter various indigenous peoples around the world, their visions of nature, witchcraft, and initiation rites. I offer these unique lectures in museums, galleries, and cultural venues; I also adapt my lectures for festivals and schools. Furthermore, I offer a dispassionate yet fascinating approach to the connections between humankind, its symbols, and its perceptions of the world.”
